The right timing
Time is a strange thing…
you can put it forward wIth summertime
And back wIth wIntertime
But
You can not force it
All comes in due time
And often it does not
Time is a strange thing…
you can put it forward wIth summertime
And back wIth wIntertime
But
You can not force it
All comes in due time
And often it does not
Well, this poem is perfect timing with the clocks being adjusted again over the weekend! It’s a really nice poem too. It’s really making me think.
What even is time, really? Does it actually even exist? I know we made it exist, but does it actually? There really is only now, right?
I love how you said you can’t force time. You just gotta flow with it.
Thank you Christina!
Now you have me think…
We can not force time… and yet time forces us.
What is time?
According to the ancients there was the solar and the lunar time. And although the lunar time is more accurate and in balance wIth nature, the solar time was given priority.
Would it not be nice if we had a watch that respected both? And also the latitude we are on… that would be the real time, wouldn’t it? A watch that follows us… and not us following a watch.
A beautiful example of ancient mechanics is the way time was envisioned by the mayas. Their calculations were more precise than our nuclear watches… because they used different measures.
And just like you, closing my eyes… I wonder, does time exist?
Kindly yours,
Mlaure
What an interesting post about Time! My opinion about this wonderful poetry all is about being in the right place at the right time. It’s all about having a good intuition for when the time is ripe for making a move. It’s all about timing. Timing is everything. The easiest part about the importance of timing can be explained with practical experience below. I was to learn guitar a year preceding my undergraduate as I had a chance to do that in a music school for free then, but I felt it’s not time as I had a lot to read to prepare for my first degree. But the first of my first degree there a need of a guitarist in the fellowship I joined then with no one to help, and I can’t start learning it by then. Timing! Yes, you don’t ask your friend for a favor or go partying when one of his grandparents just passed away. Everything in life is about Timing.
Morning for you And evening for me
The right place and the right time indeed!
All in due time
And for each of us the timeline on earth is at a different level and point of insertion as well.
Thank you for sharing your experience

Hi Fauzan. Thank you.
Time and space define our human existence and it makes us wonder what the measure of infinite is. Counting stars and sand grains is an infinite task isn’t it? It points to timeless time…
Let never time master you.. for time does not exist… live in the present and make it eternally yours
Most Kindly
