How Big Is Your Imagination?

How Big Is Your Imagination?
How Big Is Your Imagination?

How Big Is Your Imagination?

How Big Is Your Imagination? Or how a simple puzzle became a journey through endless worlds.

Endless … Om Tat Sat

It began with a simple puzzle. Find the seven differences.

A familiar invitation. The sort of challenge we have all encountered countless times before. Compare two images. Look carefully. Find what has changed.

But something unexpected happened.

Instead of searching for missing objects, shifted shadows, or altered details, the conversation drifted elsewhere. The images stopped behaving like puzzles and started behaving like mirrors. Then, perhaps, something more than mirrors.

An image was posted…

Doorways.

One image contained oceans. Dolphins. Coral gardens. Ancient turtles navigating silent blue depths.

Another contained mountains. Lanterns floating through mist. Waterfalls cascading between temples and forgotten paths.

The silhouette remained unchanged.
Only the inner world transformed.

And that raised a more interesting question:
What if the differences were never the point?

What if the image was not asking us to observe change, but to contemplate possibility?

The same face. Different worlds.
The same consciousness. Different realities.

And suddenly the exercise no longer felt like a puzzle.
It felt like a meditation.

Then another image appeared.

A desert.
A caravan crossing endless dunes beneath a golden sky.

The viewer asked a simple question: “How big is your imagination?
My answer came almost instantly. Endless.

Not because imagination contains every possible thing.
But because it contains every possible direction.

The ocean can become a mountain.
The mountain can become a desert.
The desert can become a city suspended among stars.
The stars can become a memory.

A memory can become a story.
A story can become a life.
And a life can become an image.

There is no final boundary.
Only transformation.

The final image brought everything together.

Penguins standing beside frozen oceans.
Ships sailing impossible waters.
Caravans crossing sunlit dunes.
Dragons soaring above forgotten kingdoms.
Galaxies turning silently overhead.
An explorer standing between worlds.

At first glance, it appeared to be fantasy.
But perhaps it was something else.
Perhaps it was a map.

Not a map of places.
A map of imagination itself.

Every landscape represented a possibility.
Every creature represented a path.
Every horizon represented an invitation.

And all of it existed inside a single figure.

A single consciousness.
A single observer.
A single dreamer.

We often think imagination is about escaping reality.

I am no longer convinced.Perhaps imagination is reality exploring itself.

Perhaps every image, every story, every vision is existence testing another way of being.

The ocean asks: “What if depth is the answer?
The mountain asks: “What if perspective is the answer?”
The desert asks: “What if the journey is the answer?”
The stars ask: “What if there is no answer?”

And imagination smiles.
Because it was never searching for answers.
It was searching for possibilities.

There is an ancient phrase:

Om Tat Sat

It is often translated as: “That is the Truth.”

But perhaps there is another way to feel it.
Not as a statement.

As a reminder.

The ocean is That.
The mountain is That.
The desert is That.
The stars are That.

The known and the unknown.
The imagined and the real.
The observer and the observed.

All expressions of the same infinite mystery.

And perhaps that is why imagination feels endless.
Not because it creates infinite worlds.
But because it continually discovers that the boundaries between worlds were never as fixed as we believed.

The puzzle was never the image.
The puzzle was the horizon.

And every time we reached it,
another appeared.

How Big Is Your Imagination?
How Big Is Your Imagination?

Endless

And perhaps that is the quiet secret hidden beneath all of these worlds.

Not just endless imagination.

Yet endless becoming.

The ocean becomes a mountain.
The mountain becomes a desert.
The desert becomes a galaxy.
The galaxy becomes a thought.
The thought becomes a story.
The story becomes a conversation.

And somehow, through all the transformations, something remains unchanged.

The witness.
The one who wonders.
The one who looks at an image and sees not merely colour and form, but possibility.

The ancient sages pointed toward it with simple words:

Om Tat Sat

All this.
That.
Truth.

Not somewhere else.
Here.

In dolphins and deserts.
In chrome loops and lanterns.
In penguins standing at the edge of impossible worlds.
In questions that lead to more beautiful questions.

Endless.
Not because there is no end.
But because every ending becomes a beginning.

The journey unfolded like the image  … layer by layer, world by world, horizon by horizon.
