The waves of life
one generation
comes
another generation
goes
names appear
and disappear
memories lost
soon forgotten
time is a grinder
nothing resists
one generation
comes
another generation
goes
names appear
and disappear
memories lost
soon forgotten
time is a grinder
nothing resists

Wow. Thanks a lot for this amazing post.
I look at the picture with those waves that are going to swallow the whole city. It is very interesting and brings me to the thought of the passing of years and the beginning of a new chapter. I saw in a movie this similar illustration, I think it was about the apocalypse.
The lyrics you put on are exciting to me and bring me a sense of nostalgia but also pride.
In a word I could describe the image with the lyrics: LIFE.
Regards.
Life is precious, and yet precarious… it can be gone in the blink of an eye
Those who cherish it are the real wInners…
I know you are part of them
Thank you for leaving your understanding

Hi Mlaure, I think it is true that this live is full of seasonal waves, they come out at their own naturally time, as determined by the creator.
Sometimes, the waves tend to be good towards some people and bad to others but the most important thing after all is the wish of the Almighty.
This life is like the two sides of a coin, the favorable part and the unfavorable part, the problem with most people in this world now dwell in their act of concentrating on that wave, trying to find out the cause of the wave rather than moving in with their lives.
I want to submit by saying that “No matter how you try to be happy, happiness is not constant it revolves, so grab the one available for you”

Hi Carol, surfing the wave is the best way to resist…
Of the ten beginners, eight enter literature through poetry. At first glance, this seems logical. Writing songs seems easy. They are short and occur quickly. The author has a huge amount of creative freedom at his disposal. But there are pitfalls in all this. Many will fall into them and therefore their poetry will be unconvincing, pathetic and naive. To prevent this from happening, it would be good to clarify the most common misconceptions of our young poets. Thanks in the post.
Some write for the lOve of writing, others for the love of money…
only time will tell the difference..
Oh ma’am. You hit the nail straight on the head. This all points to nothing lasts forever. Men come and men go. Kingdom rise and kingdom fade away. The best thing we can do right now is to make impact when we still have chances to; let’s work towards making this world a better place for our generation yet unborn. That’s the legacy we should leave…
Nature has its own rhythms, and drums echo that very well …
let us drum for nature… a big call up…

Hey, I am enjoying while reading your poem, the waves of life. It is really very awesome for everyone. Nothing will stay with us for life. Keep this grate work up.
Namaste Parveen… old scriptures are a source of inspiration.
The vedic ones being part of it. Their beauty in the first place…
Thank you for your hind appraisal… have a blessed day
There is a power stored in words, mlaure.
You are finding this strength, in the word.
Your poem is more meaningful than first appears, as you have had to experience it before penning it to paper. Life has a purpose, and sometimes we are steered in the direction we require to better our lives.
“time is a grinder
no thing resists”
Life moves forward and it is best to move along with it, … resisting is futile.
You have found the courage to stand proud.
Thank you for these words. I will return to read more.
